In a message on Truth Social, Trump mentioned that discussions had reached the highest levels of Iran’s government and received necessary approvals, resulting in the cancellation of strikes and bombings set for later that day.
He asserted that the discussions and key points had been agreed upon “in both concept and great detail” by all parties, including the United States, Israel, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Turkey, Pakistan, Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan, and Egypt, among others.
Trump also stated that a naval blockade would continue until the proposed agreement was finalized. He indicated that details regarding the timing and location of a formal signing would be shared soon.

This announcement followed Trump’s earlier threats of significant military action against Iran, stating that the United States would strike the nation “very hard” and hinting that key Iranian oil infrastructure could eventually fall under US control.
In a prior post on Truth Social, Trump claimed that Iran’s navy, air force, radar systems, air defense networks, and much of its offensive military capability had suffered significant degradation. He reiterated that the United States would be “hitting Iran very hard tonight.”
Trump also cautioned that the US might take control of Kharg Island and other essential energy facilities, as well as Iran’s oil and gas markets.
Meanwhile, Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf warned that “wrong strategies and impulsive decisions” could exacerbate the crisis, harm energy infrastructure, and disrupt global markets.
In a statement on X, Ghalibaf noted that such actions would “reset the entire board for the worse” and leave those responsible ensnared in an “endless quagmire” for years.
He also cautioned Iran’s adversaries, stating: “You will see a different Iran.”
The latest updates come amid rising tensions between the United States and Iran, with increasing concerns about the potential fallout of any escalation on regional stability and global energy supplies.
Wrong strategies and impulsive decisions will reset the entire board for the worse, explode energy infrastructure and markets and create an endless quagmire that you will be stuck in for years.
You will see a different Iran.
