Owaisi Denounces Modi Administration Following Deaths of 3 Indian Sailors in US Strike Near Oman
Criticizing the BJP-led government over the deaths of three Indian sailors in a US military strike on a commercial vessel near the coast of Oman, AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi remarked on Thursday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi makes time for celebrations but not for condemning the deaths of Indians.

He asserted that the Modi administration has consistently “failed” to safeguard the lives of Indian sailors and those working in international waters.

In a post on X, he stated, “The primary responsibility of the government is to save the lives of Indians. It is unfortunate and disheartening that the prime minister prioritizes celebrations over condemning the US military for the deaths of Indians.” Questioning whether India has ever had a more feeble government, he indicated that Russia continues to enlist Indians as soldiers “who are dying,” while the government stands powerless.

“The government suppresses films that mention China or depict the Galwan clash. And now this incident involving Indian sailors in international waters. As a nation, we deserve better than this. JAI HIND,” he declared.

On Thursday, India reported that three merchant vessels with Indian crew members were attacked by the American military off the coast of Oman in the past four days, leading to the deaths of three nationals. The government stated that it has taken the issue up strongly with the US.
