AU Small Finance Bank Sees 24% Increase in Deposits and 23% Growth in Loan Portfolio for Q1
AU Small Finance Bank reported a year-on-year rise of 23.5% in total deposits and a 22.6% increase in its gross loan portfolio for the quarter ending June 30, 2026, as per its provisional business update.

Total deposits reached ₹1,57,730 crore as of June 30, compared to ₹1,27,696 crore in the previous year and ₹1,52,661 crore in the March quarter, indicating a 3.3% sequential growth.

CASA deposits grew by 21.9% year-on-year to ₹45,400 crore from ₹37,241 crore in the same period last year and saw a 4.7% increase from ₹43,357 crore in the previous quarter.

The CASA ratio for the bank was at 28.8% as of June 30, down from 29.2% a year earlier and slightly up from 28.4% at the end of the March quarter.

Gross advances increased by 25.8% year-on-year to ₹1,40,460 crore, up from ₹1,11,614 crore, and saw a sequential rise of 3.2% from ₹1,36,041 crore.

The securitised, assigned portfolio and inter-bank participation certificates (IBPC) book amounted to ₹3,790 crore, compared to ₹6,010 crore in the previous year and ₹4,286 crore at the end of March.

The bank’s gross loan portfolio, including the securitised, assigned portfolio and IBPC book, increased by 22.6% year-on-year to ₹1,44,250 crore from ₹1,17,624 crore, with a sequential growth of 2.8% from ₹1,40,327 crore.

AU Small Finance Bank noted that the figures for the June quarter are provisional and subject to review by its audit committee, board of directors, and statutory auditors.

Shares of the company closed unchanged at ₹1,057.10 ahead of the business update on Friday, having gained nearly 6% this year and approximately 29% over the last 12 months.
