When the ride arrives, he jumps on behind the rider and travels to his destination. This clip was part of a promotional campaign for Uber’s bike rides, starting at just ₹ 25.
Adding a fun element, the CEO used Divine’s popular track ‘Kaam 25’ from the Netflix series Sacred Games, cleverly tying the song’s theme to the affordable pricing.
He captioned the post: “Bike Helmet Daam Pachchis Hai! (“Rides at just 25 Rupees”!).”

This was not the only transportation experience Khosrowshahi explored during his time in India. He also took a ride on the Delhi Metro, sharing his thoughts online. Traveling from Delhi Secretariat to Jor Bagh on the Blue Line, he characterized the metro system as “fast, affordable, and reliable.”
In the video shared on LinkedIn and X, he is seen donning a traditional jacket as he documents the ride.
“Millions of people use the Metro for work, leisure, or family visits, and now you can experience that with just a few taps on the Uber app,” he stated, explaining that users can now book Metro tickets through Uber.
The video also featured him utilizing a QR code generated on the app to gain entry to the station, a feature made possible through Uber’s collaboration with the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC).
After the ride, he remarked, “Got a real feel of the Delhi pulse. It was fast. It was affordable. It was reliable. It was absolutely awesome.”
During his visit, Khosrowshahi elaborated on Uber’s long-term vision for India and other markets. He mentioned that the company is striving to unify multiple transportation modes, including bikes, autos, buses, and metro systems, onto a single platform. The goal, he noted, is to create a seamless commuting experience where users can access various transport options with just one tap.
He also pointed out Uber’s increasing integration with public transport in India, highlighting that over 10 million metro rides have already been booked through the app in the country.
