TN Elections: Vijay's Involvement Elevates Perambur and Tiruchirappalli East to High-Stakes Contest Zones
Actor-turned-politician Vijay has achieved a significant victory in Tamil Nadu, as his party Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) disrupts the long-standing reign of Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) and All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK).

In its first election, TVK secured 108 seats in the 234-member Assembly; however, the party is still short of a majority and will require the backing of at least 10 additional MLAs to establish the government.

During the launch of the party’s manifesto, Vijay stated that his vision is influenced by Thiruvalluvar’s Thirukkural. He emphasized three fundamental values, aram (righteousness), porul (wealth management), and inbam (well-being), asserting that these should shape government operations.
