Ousmane Dembele’s early goal in just three minutes gave PSG the advantage, while Bayern struggled to penetrate the French side’s structured defense until Harry Kane equalized deep in second-half stoppage time.
PSG will meet Arsenal in the final on May 30 in Budapest, following the London club’s 1-0 win over Atletico Madrid on Tuesday, which earned them a 2-1 aggregate victory.
Bayern, aiming to reach their first Champions League final since 2020, saw their dreams of a treble disappear and can now only add the German Cup to their Bundesliga title this season.
“The character we displayed against a team like Bayern is incredibly positive,” remarked PSG coach Luis Enrique, whose leadership has taken the team to consecutive Champions League finals.
“We’re delighted to be in our second straight Champions League final. It was extremely intense and challenging. They play at the highest level. Both teams share a love for pressing high. We’re thrilled,” he added.
Leading 5-4 from an exhilarating first leg, PSG started strong as Dembele, who had scored twice last week, fired home from a perfectly timed cutback by Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. Both players had netted twice in the first leg.

Bayern quickly sought to apply pressure but both Michael Olise and Luis Diaz just missed the target with their attempts from the edge of the box.
Though the Germans had pushed PSG into their own half, goalkeeper Manuel Neuer still had to intervene in the 33rd minute, deflecting Joao Neves’ header wide to keep Bayern in contention.
PSG’s Matvei Safonov responded with an impressive save, denying Jamal Musiala’s low shot just before halftime.
The second half began with PSG adopting a defensive stance but looking to counter-attack.
As Bayern, needing two goals, became increasingly desperate, PSG found more opportunities in the second half, threatening through Desire Doue and Kvaratskhelia late in the match.
Bayern’s top scorer Kane, who had been quiet throughout the game, managed to find just enough room to score an equalizer in stoppage time, marking his seventh consecutive goal in the competition.
However, his 55th goal across all competitions this season for Bayern came too late, as the hosts could not find more time.
“It felt like we were missing that final touch, the clear 100 percent chance,” commented Bayern defender Konrad Laimer. “Ultimately, that one goal came a little too late. If it had come earlier, the whole stadium would have erupted.”
