Bengal polls: BJP's Agnimitra Paul retains Asansol Dakshin seat
BJP candidate Agnimitra Paul successfully retained her Asansol Dakshin assembly constituency in West Bengal, surpassing TMC’s Tapas Banerjee by 40,839 votes, as indicated by the Election Commission. Paul garnered 1,19,582 votes, whereas Banerjee received 78,743 votes.
The BJP leader was declared the winner following 15 rounds of counting.
