Ukraine hits refinery in Russia's Krasnodar region overnight
Ukrainian drones targeted several Russian locations overnight, including an oil refinery in the Krasnodar region, local officials reported. This continues Kyiv’s campaign on energy infrastructure, leading to significant fuel shortages across various parts of Russia.

In a statement on Telegram on Sunday, Krasnodar region governor Veniamin Kondratiev mentioned that a fire had erupted at the Slavyansk refinery, resulting in one fatality and another person injured in a nearby village.

Unverified videos shared on social media depicted a considerable fire at the refinery.
The Slavyansk refinery is a privately owned facility with a capacity of approximately 100,000 barrels per day, catering to both domestic needs and exports.

Meanwhile, the governor of Yaroslavl, situated east of Moscow, reported drone attacks in the region, leading to temporary restrictions on certain road routes to the capital.
