This launch aligns with India’s increasing emphasis on artificial intelligence and advanced computing, with the facility anticipated to enhance research in AI, data science, high-performance computing, and various interdisciplinary areas.
“The inauguration of Param Pragya, an AI-driven high-performance supercomputing facility, further highlights India’s dedication to promoting cutting-edge research and artificial intelligence,” stated the Prime Minister’s Office.
As the chief guest, the Prime Minister will address over 3,000 graduates, including 587 PhD candidates, during the convocation.
He will also award IIT Delhi’s top academic distinctions, such as the President’s Gold Medal, Director’s Gold Medal, Shankar Dayal Sharma Gold Medal, and Perfect Ten Gold Medals to outstanding students.
What is Param Pragya?
Param Pragya is an AI-enhanced high-performance supercomputing facility located at IIT Delhi’s Sonipat campus. Its establishment aims to bolster IIT Delhi’s research abilities by offering state-of-the-art computing resources for artificial intelligence, data science, and other domains.
