IShowSpeed, who has streamed various World Cup matches during the tournament, will perform at this event, while Cruise will make a special appearance. The Hollywood actor previously captured attention for his stunt during the closing ceremony of the Paris Olympics.

“Reflecting the spirit of the opening ceremonies, which welcomed the world to this grand stage in Canada, Mexico, and the United States, the closing ceremony will complete the FIFA World Cup 2026 journey through music, culture, and football, right before we kick off the much-anticipated match to crown the champions of this historic tournament,” said Heimo Schirgi, the World Cup’s chief operating officer.
Sunday will also showcase the tournament’s first halftime show, featuring a host of additional A-list performers. Closing ceremonies are not new to the World Cup, and this one is being produced in partnership with Balich Wonder Studio, led by Marco Balich, who was behind the 2022 World Cup’s opening and closing ceremonies in Qatar.
