The tech sector is experiencing a new surge of product launches, as top brands unveil their latest smartphones and tablets across various segments. The upcoming models emphasize AI-driven features, enhanced battery longevity, high-refresh-rate screens, and improved performance.

With these advancements, tech companies are catering to both high-end and mid-range consumers. We’ve compiled a list of major devices set to launch this week, from May 13 to May 20.

Motorola Razr Fold
Launching on: 13 May 2026

Motorola has officially announced that the Razr Fold will debut in India on May 13. This marks the company’s first book-style foldable smartphone in the country. Unveiled at CES 2026, the device is anticipated to be available shortly after its release via Flipkart and Motorola’s official site. Although the official pricing is yet to be disclosed, the foldable is expected to retail between ₹1.4 lakh and ₹1.6 lakh.

The Razr Fold is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, boasts a 6,000mAh battery with 80W wired and 50W wireless charging, and features dual LTPO OLED displays. This includes an 8.1-inch 120Hz inner display and a 6.6-inch 165Hz cover screen.

For photography enthusiasts, the smartphone offers a triple rear camera setup with three 50MP sensors, including a periscope zoom lens and an ultra-wide sensor. In India, the phone will be available in two variants—12GB + 256GB and 16GB + 512GB—in color options like Pantone Blackened Blue, Pantone Lily White, and a unique FIFA World Cup 2026 Edition.

Vivo X300 Ultra and X300 FE

Debuting on: 14 May 2026

Vivo has introduced the X300 Ultra and X300 FE smartphones to expand its X300 series. The X300 Ultra features a 6.82-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. Its anticipated price is around ₹1.6 lakh.

This flagship model emphasizes photography capabilities, offering a 200MP main camera, a 200MP telephoto lens, and ZEISS-tuned optics for superior imaging.

On the other hand, the X300 FE presents a more compact 6.31-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It operates on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset and includes a triple rear camera system with a 50MP primary sensor, expected to be priced at approximately ₹79,999.

HMD Vibe 2 5G

HMD has confirmed the launch of the Vibe 2 5G in India this May, with a dedicated microsite already live on Flipkart. However, the exact launch date remains undisclosed.

The teaser showcases a flat display with a center-aligned hole-punch selfie camera, though detailed specifications are not yet available. Based on its predecessor, this new device is likely aimed at the budget 5G market.

Last year’s HMD Vibe 5G was priced at ₹11,999 and featured a 6.67-inch HD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a Unisoc T760 processor, 4GB RAM, 128GB storage, a 50MP main camera, and a 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging. It also came with Android 15, promising two years of security updates.

The upcoming Vibe 2 5G is expected to launch in a similar price bracket and might compete with devices like the iQOO Z11 Lite in the under-₹15,000 segment.

Tecno Pova 8

The Tecno Pova 8 is an anticipated smartphone set to launch at a starting price of ₹24,999. Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 processor, it features a 6.76-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate for smoother viewing and gaming experiences.

In terms of camera capabilities, the smartphone includes a 50MP primary rear camera along with an 8MP secondary sensor, while selfies and video calls are managed by a 13MP front camera. It’s supported by a substantial 8,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging and incorporates UFS 2.2 storage for enhanced performance.
