Auto giant Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. reported consistent growth in April sales, driven by robust tractor demand and a notable increase in exports.

The company’s total sales for April rose by 14% year-on-year to 94,627 units. Passenger vehicle sales experienced an 8% increase to 56,331 units, compared to 52,330 units during the same month last year.

Growth was more pronounced in the agricultural segment, with tractor sales surging 21% year-on-year to 48,411 units, up from 40,054 units. Exports rose by 47% to 4,970 units, compared to 3,381 units a year earlier.

Shares of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. closed Thursday’s trading session down 1.84% at ₹3,094.20. The stock has faced challenges, declining by 18% so far this year.
