64 km in total: What are the routes?
The proposed corridor will extend 64 kilometres in total, with 52 kilometres situated within Haryana.
In Gurugram, the route will start at IFFCO Chowk and traverse through Sector 29, Millennium City, Sector 52, Sector 57, and Sector 61 before reaching Gwal Pahari.
This location will connect with the Delhi Metro’s Yellow Line, enhancing interchange options for commuters.
In Faridabad, the corridor will go through Sainik Colony and connect regions such as New Faridabad, NIT, Bata Chowk, and Sectors 12-15.

The route will also integrate with the Delhi Metro’s Violet Line, facilitating better connectivity with the national capital.
Regional connectivity boost
The Namo Bharat RRTS corridor aims to enhance regional transport connections throughout the National Capital Region (NCR).
By linking significant residential and commercial areas in Gurugram, Faridabad, and Noida-Greater Noida, this project is expected to enable quicker inter-city travel while connecting with existing metro and transit systems.
Implementation and timeline
Chief Minister Saini stated that the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) will draft the Detailed Project Report (DPR) in the upcoming months.
Construction is anticipated to start in December 2026, with an expected completion time of four-and-a-half years, as reported by News18.
“The necessary instructions have been given to the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC), which is tasked with executing the project,” Saini mentioned, according to News18.

This corridor will not only connect with the Delhi Metro, Rapid Metro, and Gurugram Metro networks but will also “support Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a developed India,” he added.
