The cricket board released an Invitation to Tender (ITT), inviting interested entities to participate in a competitive bidding process.
The ITT document will be available for purchase with a non-refundable fee of Rs 1 lakh, along with applicable GST. Interested parties can buy the document until August 4, while inquiries for clarifications can be made until August 5.
Bid submissions are due by August 13, according to a press release from the BCCI, signed by its secretary Devajit Saikia.
The BCCI noted that the tender document, which outlines the eligibility criteria and terms governing the bidding, will be shared only after payment of the ITT fee has been confirmed.
The board emphasized that obtaining the ITT does not guarantee participation in the bidding process; only those meeting specified eligibility criteria in the tender document may submit bids.
The successful bidder will secure title sponsorship rights for BCCI events, which encompass international matches with the Indian men’s and women’s teams at home, as well as domestic tournaments like the Ranji Trophy, Duleep Trophy, and Irani Cup, in addition to age-group competitions.
Currently, these rights are held by IDFC FIRST Bank, which secured the sponsorship in September 2023, and it will remain in effect until August 2026.
IDFC FIRST Bank is the existing title sponsor for all BCCI international and domestic home matches (including Test, ODI, and T20 series, as well as domestic events like the Ranji Trophy).
Furthermore, Apollo Tyres acts as the official lead sponsor and jersey sponsor for Team India.
The BCCI retains the right to cancel or modify the tender process at any stage without providing any justification.
BCCI also invites bids for associate partner rights
Additionally, the BCCI released a Request for Quotation (RFQ), inviting entities to bid for associate partner rights for its events through a tender process.
The RFQ document will be accessible upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs 1 lakh plus applicable GST. Interested parties can purchase the RFQ until August 14, request clarifications until August 16, while the final date for submission of quotation documents is August 25.
The board stated that the RFQ, which contains the eligibility criteria and detailed terms for the bidding process, will only be shared after payment of the RFQ fee is confirmed.
The successful bidder will obtain the associate partner rights for BCCI events, including home international matches involving the Indian men’s and women’s teams, domestic competitions, and age-group tournaments.
