UP Minister Rajbhar asserts that the Samajwadi Party is poised for a split before the 2027 elections: “Prepared to switch to BJP.”

Akhilesh Yadav announces that the Samajwadi Party has terminated its contract with I-PAC due to financial limitations.
In a shocking statement ahead of the 2027 Assembly elections, UP minister Om Prakash Rajbhar has claimed that the Samajwadi Party is experiencing significant internal strife and may be on the verge of a major split.

Rajbhar, who leads the NDA ally Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party, alleged that important political events are unfolding within the Samajwadi Party, indicating that multiple leaders might be seeking alternative political avenues.

In an interview with ANI, Rajbhar stated, “Only when someone is willing to be attracted by offers, will they be bought. Don’t focus solely on Maharashtra; it’s UP’s turn now,” he remarked.
He also mentioned a letter supposedly written by SP leader Ram Gopal Yadav to Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Rajbhar asserted that the letter’s contents raised crucial political questions and urged Yadav to clarify the situation.

“Did you notice that Ram Gopal ji sent a letter to Amit Shah ji and suggested that these are the names to consider, but keep us safe. Ram Gopal ji should explain what he wrote in his letter,” he added.

Rajbhar connected the matter to previous allegations against the Samajwadi Party, including the mining scam and the Gomti Riverfront project. “The CBI has implicated Akhilesh ji in a mining-related case. Did anyone face consequences in the Gomti Riverfront scandal?” he questioned.

In a post on X, Rajbhar claimed that the Samajwadi Party was becoming increasingly uneasy due to the growing scrutiny over past corruption allegations. “A significant split is forthcoming in the Samajwadi Party. Ram Gopal Yadav has handed a letter to Union Home Minister Amit Shah ji,” he tweeted.

“Everyone in Uttar Pradesh is aware of who the mastermind behind the mining scam and Gomti Riverfront scandal is. As the pressure mounts, the SP is becoming increasingly anxious. Forget Maharashtra and Bengal—the entire SP is poised to join the BJP,” he remarked.

The Samajwadi Party has yet to officially respond to Rajbhar’s recent allegations.
