Buttler Drives Titans to a Strong Start in Powerplay

Delhi Capitals are counting on their top order, led by KL Rahul, to secure runs as they aim to keep their winning streak alive against a struggling Gujarat Titans in the IPL on Wednesday.

Delhi Capitals have enjoyed an almost flawless start with their bowling, while 22-year-old Sameer Rizvi has been shouldering much of the batting responsibility, maturing early this season.

If Rahul and his teammates find their rhythm, the Delhi Capitals will evolve into a more formidable side.

Rahul’s dismissal in his first two innings hasn’t cast doubt on his potential, and it’s only a matter of time before he reestablishes his consistency.

Nitish Rana will feel the weight of expectations as he steps up to bat at number three.

After finding his form in the previous match, Pathum Nissanka will bring added confidence against the Gujarat Titans’ pace duo of Kagiso Rabada and Mohammed Siraj during the powerplay.

Rizvi is on a hot streak, having scored his third consecutive IPL fifty (one from last season). He’s always had the knack for taking on spinners but is now proving capable against fast bowlers as well.

His innings began cautiously against the Mumbai Indians, but he later shifted gears dramatically, leading his team to a comfortable victory.
