Union Minister and former BJP president JP Nadda launched the party’s manifesto for the Tamil Nadu elections, titled Pudhiya Yugam Padaikkum Thamarai Vaakuruthi (Creating a New Era through Lotus Promise) 2026, asserting that the DMK has “let down Tamil Nadu on all fronts”.
The manifesto, crafted by a 13-member committee led by former Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan, addresses 12 key areas such as governance, law and order, social justice, women and child development, healthcare, and farmer welfare.

- Monthly support of ₹2,000 for women heads of families, alongside a one-time payment of ₹10,000 for every household.
- Provision of three free LPG cylinders per year — granted during Pongal, Tamil New Year, and Diwali.
- Combatting violence against women with urgent measures, including streamlined zero-FIR reporting, victim-witness protection, and dedicated fast-track courts for serious offenses.
- Subsidy of ₹25,000 for eligible women to buy e-scooters.
- ₹3,000 additional support under the central PM-Kisan scheme for farmers.
- Loans up to ₹50 lakh for women-led cooperatives, SHGs, and MSMEs.
- Ensuring that 20% of government procurement comes from women-led cooperatives.
- A one-time subsidy of ₹50,000 will be granted to small and marginal farmers.
- Interest-free loans of ₹10 lakh for first-generation students and waivers for education loans for those who cannot pay EMIs due to joblessness.
- Creation of one lakh government positions, free coaching for top students, and district-level coaching centers offering Tamil-language options.
- Weekly training in AI and robotics with hands-on labs for Class 12 graduates.
- A “ganja-free” state initiative, a dedicated helpline for prompt action, special fast-track courts, and capital punishment under the NDPS Act for habitual offenders and drug cartels.
