Meta has launched an initiative called the Creator Fast Track programme, designed to support established digital creators in broadening their reach and income on Facebook, even if their main audiences reside on other social media platforms.

This programme aims to simplify the process for creators with substantial followings on other platforms, allowing them to cultivate an audience on Facebook and monetize their content more swiftly, as per a press release from the company on March 18.

Guaranteed earnings and enhanced reach
Meta announced that the Creator Fast Track programme will offer selected creators an increase in reach for qualifying short-form videos, along with guaranteed earnings for a limited duration.

“We’re introducing the Creator Fast Track program on Facebook, which facilitates the growth of established creators’ audiences and their ability to earn revenue,” the company stated.

Eligible creators will receive three months of guaranteed payments for sharing qualifying Reels on Facebook.

According to Meta, creators with a minimum of 100,000 followers on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube can earn up to $1,000 monthly. Those with over one million followers on any of these platforms may qualify for up to $3,000 each month.

Participants will also gain immediate access to Facebook’s content monetization tools, allowing them to continue earning from eligible posts after the three-month programme concludes.

Record-breaking creator payouts

Meta emphasized the swift expansion of the creator economy on Facebook, reporting that the platform allocated nearly $3 billion to content creators in 2025 through its monetization programmes. This figure represents a 35% increase from the prior year and signifies the highest annual payout since the programme’s inception.

The company noted that earnings are not restricted to video content; creators can derive income from various formats, including Reels, Stories, photos, and text posts.

Meta highlighted that short-form video remains the leading source of creator earnings on the platform. Approximately 60% of total payouts in 2025 were linked to Reels, while the remainder was attributed to other formats like Stories and static posts.

New metrics for tracking creator income

In conjunction with the programme, Meta unveiled additional analytics tools within Facebook’s Content Monetization system to assist creators in comprehending how their content generates revenue.

The company revealed that new performance metrics will feature “Qualified View,” “Earnings Rate,” and “Non-Qualified Views,” enabling creators to discern which views can generate income and the reasons behind some views not qualifying for monetization.

While the content monetization programme currently functions on an invitation basis, Meta indicated that creators can express their interest via the Professional Dashboard in the Facebook mobile app.
