Recent reports indicate that the device may be launched in the latter half of 2026, featuring a refreshed design and improved hardware.
The official price for the Galaxy A27 5G has not been announced by Samsung. However, a report from Bajaj Finserv suggests that the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant might be priced around ₹21,999 in India.
Colour and design
Leaked images from tipster OnLeaks and MyMobiles depict the Samsung Galaxy A27 in three colors: Black, Blue, and Light Pink. The smartphone seems to sport a flat display and relatively slim bezels compared to its predecessor.
One noticeable visual alteration is the front display. Unlike the previous Galaxy A26, which featured a waterdrop-notch design, the new Galaxy A27 is expected to incorporate a punch-hole camera cutout at the top center of the screen.
On the back, the device reportedly showcases a flat rear panel with a pill-shaped camera module positioned in the top-left corner. Samsung branding is likely to appear at the lower part of the panel.
Display and performance details
According to leaked specifications, the Galaxy A27 may have a 6.7-inch Full HD+ display. While Samsung has not yet confirmed the type of panel, sources suggest that the phone might retain a 120Hz AMOLED screen similar to its predecessor.
The device is predicted to operate on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, replacing the Exynos chipset from the older model. The Galaxy A27 might be available with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage. Reports indicate that this model might not support microSD card expansion, which could disappoint users who prefer expandable storage options.
Camera Upgrades and Changes
For photography, the Samsung Galaxy A27 is rumored to feature a triple rear camera system led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS). It could also include a 5-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. On the front, Samsung might include a 12-megapixel selfie camera for video calls and selfies.
Battery and other features
The Galaxy A27 is anticipated to come with a 5,000mAh battery supporting 25W wired fast charging, similar to the current model. Additional leaked information suggests that the phone could weigh around 200 grams and measure approximately 162.4 × 78.2 × 7.8 mm. This smartphone is expected to be a dual-SIM device running Android 16-based OneUI 8.5.
Expected launch timeline
Though Samsung has yet to officially declare the launch date, reports suggest that the Samsung Galaxy A27 could debut later in 2026.
