The airline mentioned that this route aims to meet the growing demand for travel between India and Saudi Arabia, while also offering onward connections from Riyadh to various destinations in Europe and West Asia, including London, Madrid, Jeddah, and Cairo. Commenting on the route’s launch, Tony Douglas, Chief Executive Officer of Riyadh Air, stated, “With India emerging as one of the fastest-growing aviation markets globally, we are excited to provide travellers with a new premium option and enhanced global connectivity from Mumbai to Riyadh, and onwards to Europe.”

He further noted that the route was chosen to support the airline’s goal of establishing a global network and contributing to Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 initiative.

Ticket sales commenced on July 6 via the airline’s website, mobile app, and travel agents.
