Ram Temple Donation Controversy: FIR Filed Over Suspected Embezzlement
An FIR has been filed regarding an alleged misappropriation of donations at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, according to officials.

The complaint indicates that there were discrepancies in the management of funds and offerings made by worshippers. This case has sparked an investigation into the alleged improper use of donation funds associated with the temple trust.

This issue arises amidst a broader investigation into the financial operations and donation management of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. Recently, a Special Investigation Team (SIT) has provided preliminary findings to the Uttar Pradesh government and is currently scrutinizing several cases of purported irregularities.
Officials noted that additional legal measures will hinge on the investigation’s results and evidence validation.

The situation has also elicited political responses, with opposition leaders questioning the transparency surrounding the management of temple donations, while the ruling party has staunchly defended the trust’s operations and the ongoing inquiry.

The Ram Temple in Ayodhya, which was inaugurated in January 2024 after an extensive legal and political journey, continues to receive substantial donations from devotees nationwide.

Further updates regarding the FIR and the specific allegations are yet to be disclosed.
