New Agreement to Feature ixigo Branding at New Delhi Metro Station
Travel technology platform ixigo has secured branding rights for the New Delhi Metro Station as part of a transit media marketing initiative designed to enhance visibility among daily commuters and intercity travelers.

As part of the agreement, the station will be identified as “ixigo New Delhi Metro Station” in select on-ground branding placements. The initiative also encompasses in-metro audio announcements such as “The next station is New Delhi, ixigo” and “Agla station New Delhi, ixigo hai,” effectively integrating the brand into the commuter information systems.

New Delhi Metro Station serves as a crucial interchange in the Delhi Metro network, linking the Yellow Line and Airport Express Line. It also grants access to New Delhi Railway Station (Ajmeri Gate side) and facilitates connectivity to Indira Gandhi International Airport terminals T2 and T3, along with major commercial and tourist areas like Connaught Place. The station experiences significant passenger traffic due to its central role as a transit hub in the capital.
Dinesh Kumar Kotha, CEO of ixigo Trains and ConfirmTkt, stated that the station is vital for daily mobility in the region. He noted that this initiative aims to position ixigo at crucial travel touchpoints and aligns with the company’s growth into metro ticketing services, including QR-based bookings for Delhi Metro and Mumbai Metro.

The company has expressed that this branding effort is part of a larger strategy to integrate digital travel services with physical transit infrastructure, intending to enhance visibility during key travel decision moments.

ixigo operates as a travel technology platform offering services across train, flight, bus, and hotel bookings through its consumer applications, including ixigo, ConfirmTkt, and AbhiBus.
