Motorcycle driver killed in crash on Business Loop 70 | Mid-Missouri News


One person is dead after a crash Friday morning on Business Loop 70, according to a news release from the Columbia Police Department.

Investigation shows that a driver was turning left into a parking lot in the 1200 block around 7 a.m. and failed to yield to an oncoming motorcycle, according to the Police Department.

The 35-year-old driving the motorcycle was thrown from the vehicle, police said.

The Police Department said that medical personnel pronounced the rider dead at the scene.

This investigation is ongoing, police said.
