Official sources indicated on Thursday that a council of ministers meeting under the Modi administration is expected to take place on May 21.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will chair this meeting, which is likely to include all Union ministers, Union ministers of state with independent charge, and other Union ministers of state.

The gathering is anticipated to review various aspects of government schemes and programs, as well as the operations of ministries and departments, according to the sources.
This meeting follows the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) significant victories in the recently conducted Assembly elections in West Bengal and Assam, along with the re-establishment of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government in Puducherry.

While the prime minister frequently convenes meetings of the entire council of ministers to address essential policy and governance matters, the significance of the May 21 meeting is heightened due to its timing after the latest Assembly elections.
