Meta’s Facebook and Instagram Users Experience Service Disruptions

Users of Meta's Facebook, Instagram report suffering some outages  
Meta’s Facebook and Instagram platforms experienced disruptions on Sunday, with users reporting problems with both the app and website.

According to Downdetector, as of 0746 GMT, 4,808 complaints were lodged by Facebook users in the US, with 63% encountering access issues.

Additionally, 2,829 complaints were recorded from Instagram users in the US experiencing problems with the app as of 0818 GMT on Sunday.
Investigations by Reuters revealed that access to Facebook and Instagram was also sporadic in Singapore.

Meta has not yet responded to an email request for comment.
