The changes received approval from BJP national president Nitin Nabin and took immediate effect, as per notifications published by party general secretary Arun Singh.

Who Is Dr. Archana Gupta?
Dr. Archana Gupta is recognized as a prominent face of the BJP in Haryana and has been affiliated with the organization for several years. Prior to this appointment, she held the position of BJP’s Haryana general secretary.
She has also previously chaired the BJP Mahila Morcha in the Panipat district. In 2020, she became the district president of the party in Panipat, marking the first time a woman has held that role.
Beyond her political career, Archana Gupta is a well-respected radiologist. Born on January 20, 1968, she has also been involved with the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP).
Coming from a family of medical professionals, her husband, Dr. Anil Gupta, is an ophthalmologist. Their daughter, Arushi, is also in the medical field, while their son Aviral is furthering his education at the London School of Economics.
Archana Gupta Reacts To Appointment
Following the announcement, Gupta expressed her gratitude to the BJP leadership for the trust placed in her. In a social media update, she stated her commitment to fulfilling her responsibilities with honesty, dedication, and a sense of public service.
“This honour is not solely mine but belongs to every dedicated party worker committed to the organization’s values and the service of our nation,” she shared on Instagram.
In conjunction with Archana Gupta’s appointment in Haryana, minister of state (MoS) Harsh Malhotra has been selected as the new leader of the party’s Delhi unit. In Punjab, former Congress member Kewal Singh Dhillon will serve as state president, while Tripura MLA Abhishek Debroy has been tasked with leading in the northeastern state.
