Laxman Sangappa Savadi | Former Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka, Laxman Savadi serves as the MLA from Athani and has been the director of BDCC Bank, Belagavi. He has one criminal case and is a Class 12 graduate, as per ADR.
Zameer Ahmed Khan | A five-time MLA from Chamrajpet, Zameer Ahmed Khan currently holds the position of Karnataka’s Housing, Minority Welfare and Wakf Minister. B Nagendra | Four-time MLA B. Nagendra has represented both Bellary and Kudligi constituencies, previously serving as Karnataka’s Minister for Sports and Youth Services. The 54-year-old has 42 criminal cases, according to ADR.
PM Narendraswamy | Congress MLA P M Narendraswamy represents the Malavalli Assembly constituency reserved for SC/ST in Mandya district and currently is the Chairman of the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board. He has one criminal case, according to ADR.
Shivaraj Tangadagi | Karnataka’s Minister for Backward Classes Development and Kannada and Culture Department, Shivaraj Tangadagi is the MLA for the Kanakagiri Assembly constituency. He holds a B.Sc. degree from SVM College (1991-92) and has the qualifications noted in ADR.

Other notable names in Karnataka’s Cabinet expansion include: Rudrappa Manappa Lamani, Deputy Speaker of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly; Mayakonda MLA K S Basavanthappa; three-time Challakere MLA T Raghumurthy; Chamarajanagar MLA C Puttarangashetty; Mankal S Vaidya, Bhatkal MLA and Cabinet Minister; Arasikere MLA KM Shivalinge Gowda; senior Congress leader Basavaraj Rayareddy, a six-time MLA and former Lok Sabha MP; and Rizwan Arshad, Shivajinagar MLA, first elected in a bypoll in 2019. According to ADR, Basavanthappa, Vaidya, and Rizwan Arshad have one, one, and four criminal cases, respectively, while Puttarangashetty has two criminal cases. Lamani holds a BA, Raghumurthy has a BE (Civil), Puttarangashetty and Shivalinge Gowda both hold BA degrees, Vaidya has studied up to Class 8, Rayareddy possesses a BA LLB, and Rizwan Arshad completed his Bachelor of Commerce from St. Philomena’s College, University of Mysore.
