Iran has submitted its response to a U.S. proposal aimed at concluding the ongoing war that has lasted over two months. This was reported by Iran’s IRNA news agency on Sunday. According to Iran’s proposal, the current stage of negotiations will focus strictly on stopping hostilities in the area.
Sources from both sides informed Reuters that the latest peace endeavors seek a temporary memorandum of understanding aimed at halting the war and permitting transit through the Strait of Hormuz while facilitating discussions surrounding a more comprehensive agreement that would need to address enduring disputes like Iran’s nuclear program.
