India excludes Vaibhav Sooryavanshi from final T20I against England; Samson makes a comeback.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi surpasses Sachin Tendulkar's record, sets record as India's youngest debutant.
India made a single adjustment to their playing XI for the fifth and final T20I against England in Southampton, replacing teenage opener Vaibhav Sooryavanshi with the more experienced wicketkeeper-batter Sanju Samson.

Sooryavanshi, who became India’s youngest international cricketer during the second T20I in Manchester, faced a challenging start to his international journey. The 15-year-old recorded scores of 15, 13, and 14 in his first three innings and struggled against England’s short-ball tactics in the last two matches at Nottingham and Bristol.

Trailing 0-3 in the five-match series, India won the toss and chose to field first. Captain Shreyas Iyer encouraged his team to enter the final match with a “solid mindset” and aim to conclude the series on a high note.
The England and Wales Cricket Board released a statement explaining the delay in the toss, which subsequently pushed back the start of play.

“Due to the delayed arrival of one of the teams, who are caught in heavy traffic north of the river, the scheduled start of play will experience a delay.”

“Once all team members arrive, the match officials will coordinate updated timings and review any effects on the play schedule. We will inform spectators of the revised schedule as soon as possible,” the statement read.
