Jai Moondra, a fast bowler from Rajasthan, has gained significant attention after earning the Player of the Series award in the recent matchup against India. Ireland made history by claiming the T20I series with a 2-0 victory.

Despite his exceptional performance on the cricket field, the former Intel engineer continues to seek IT job opportunities.

Moondra, who was employed as a software engineer at Intel until 2025, currently showcases the ‘#OpenToWork’ badge on his LinkedIn profile.
In 2021, Moondra relocated to Ireland to pursue a Master’s degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering, completing the program in September 2022. He subsequently joined Intel as a Product Development Engineer.

About six months ago, he commented on a LinkedIn post featuring various technology job openings in Ireland and other European nations. Prior to that, he had responded to another recruitment post, identifying himself as a former Intel employee and expressing his interest in new opportunities.

While Moondra’s achievements on the cricket field were celebrated by fans, his family also enjoyed a moment of joy.

In a video shared by ANI, Moondra’s family can be seen applauding and cheering after his outstanding Player of the Series performance against India.

Moondra’s performances against India made him one of the series’ standout players. In his debut T20I, the left-arm pacer made a memorable entrance by dismissing Sanju Samson on his very first ball before ending with two wickets, leading Ireland to their first win over India.

He followed this up with an even more remarkable performance in the second T20I, taking out Sanju Samson, Abhishek Sharma, and captain Shreyas Iyer, leaving India struggling at 19/3. Moondra’s impressive figures of 3/32 aided Ireland in achieving a thrilling one-run victory, thus completing a historic 2-0 series sweep against the T20 world champions. With five wickets across the two matches, he was honored as the Player of the Series.
