The latest offerings consist of the AU Ananta, AU Laksya, AU Tejas, and AU Prathama credit cards, specifically targeting affluent individuals, mid-career experts, young salaried workers, and first-time credit users, respectively.
The bank stated that these products have been crafted to meet evolving spending behaviors and lifestyle choices in Tier-1 and Tier-2 cities. Cardholders can benefit from features such as reward points, cashback deals, airport lounge access, movie perks, travel-related benefits, and waivers on fuel surcharges.
Additionally, AU Small Finance Bank has launched a function enabling eligible cardholders to access complimentary airport lounges when booking flights through the AU Rewardz platform.
The bank mentioned that the annual membership fee for the cards can be waived upon reaching specified spending levels. The range also features no-cost EMI options for select travel reservations and zero processing fees for certain EMI conversions.
Yogesh Jain, Chief Operating Officer at AU Small Finance Bank, remarked that the goal is to develop a lifecycle-based credit card solution that aligns with shifting customer preferences and the bank’s digital banking strategy.
This launch occurs as financial institutions continue to enhance credit card offerings in response to the increasing trend of digital payments and elevated consumer expenditure across sectors like travel, entertainment, groceries, and online shopping.
Founded in 2017, AU Small Finance Bank has recently received in-principle approval from the Reserve Bank of India to evolve into a universal bank.
