Anthropic Introduces Max and Team Premium Plans for Claude Fable 5: Features and Benefits
Claude Fable 5 is set to be officially available in all Max and Team Premium subscription plans, offering users access to 50% of standard limits, according to Anthropic. From July 20, Pro and Team Standard users will also be able to use Fable 5 with usage credits and will receive a one-time compensation of $100.

Claude further expressed that, due to the challenges in predicting demand accurately after the launch of Fable 5, a phased rollout strategy was initially implemented. Access has been expanded multiple times as computing resources have increased, leading to some uncertainty for users.

In a statement on X (formerly Twitter), the company mentioned, “Starting July 20, Claude Fable 5 will be part of all Max and Team Premium plans, available at 50% of limits. Pro and Team Standard users will retain access to Fable via usage credits and will receive a one-time $100 credit.”
“Predicting demand for Fable has proven to be difficult, which is why we opted for a staged rollout to the subscription plans, extending access multiple times as we gained more capacity,” they added.

This update aims to offer clearer information on the model access rights provided under each subscription plan.

“We are establishing access standards at 50% usage for the plans that utilize Fable the most. Thank you for your understanding over the past few weeks,” Claude noted in a subsequent post.

Looking ahead, Claude has affirmed their commitment to continue investing in new computing capacity and will regularly update Fable 5 access policies in relation to available resources.

Anthropic extends free Claude 5 access

The company previously extended promotional access to its premier Fable 5 model for paid Claude subscribers. This offer allowed paid users to utilize the model within 50% of their weekly usage threshold. The promotion is available to users on Pro, Max, Team, and premium seats under seat-based Enterprise plans.

Initially set to conclude on July 7, the promotion was extended to July 12 and has now been prolonged until July 19.
