The company has also limited the distribution of its GPT-5.6 models to chosen partners due to requests from the US government. Meanwhile, Anthropic received partial approval for Claude Mythos 5, and China’s Zhipu launched an open-weight AI model at a reduced cost. Additionally, Google reportedly constrained the usage of Meta’s AI model, and concerns have arisen among investors regarding Oracle’s substantial spending on AI infrastructure and its associated debt.
