Midtown business catches fires, Poplar Avenue shut down | News


MEMPHIS, Tenn. – A vacant business in Midtown erupted in flames Thursday afternoon, the Memphis Fire Department (MFD) said. 

Fire crews were on the scene at the 1200 block of Poplar Avenue, with part of the street blocked. No injuries were reported, MFD said.

Memphis Fire said the fire is under control and fire investigators are en route.
