Tech Leaders to Join G7 Summit as Officials Discuss AI and Internet Safety
Executives from AI firms such as Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, and Mistral AI are anticipated to be present at the upcoming G7 summit next week, according to French officials, who are preparing an agenda focused on addressing global crises and significant economic challenges.

• A partial list of attendees includes: Sam Altman (OpenAI), Demis Hassabis (Google DeepMind), Dario Amodei (Anthropic), Arthur Mensch (Mistral AI), Aidan Gomez (Cohere), Robin Rombach (Black Forest Labs), Pratyush Kumar (Sarvam AI), Victor Riparbelli (Synthesia), Alex Wang (Meta), Marc Benioff (Salesforce), Ren Ito (Sakana AI).

• The gathering set for June 15–17 in Evian-les-Bains, France, will unite the leaders of France, Britain, Canada, Germany, Italy, Japan, and the United States, alongside representatives from the European Union.
• According to Macron’s office, the leaders will deliberate on a declaration aimed at protecting minors online.

• Additionally, they will engage with tech industry leaders during a working lunch on Wednesday to discuss broader technology topics, including regulation, AI infrastructure, and networks.
