As per a statement from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee, specific technical interventions were swiftly implemented to assist NEET candidates facing challenges in accessing admit card data and to ensure a seamless registration process.
“These interventions led to a slight, temporary misconfiguration in a cloud storage component. An ethical hacker, Mr. Rylen Anil, discovered this misconfiguration and reported his ability to access the affected database. The problem was promptly corrected, and data access was restricted,” stated the release.

Who is Rylen Anil?
Rylen Anil is a 16-year-old cybersecurity researcher and ethical hacker who gained notable attention for responsibly identifying and exposing significant security vulnerabilities in India’s competitive national entrance exam portals.
