This expansion marks a significant development for the India-based hospitality company in the US market. Earlier this year, PRISM introduced eight extended-stay hotels during the first phase, and this latest rollout has added an additional 30 properties. G6 Hospitality is facilitating this expansion through various technological and operational tools, including G6 Marketplace, Protect24.ai, and options for bookable early check-in.
What are extended-stay hotels?
Extended-stay hotels cater to guests requiring lodging for several days to weeks. Unlike traditional hotels, these accommodations are equipped with amenities that enhance the comfort and convenience of longer stays. Features typically include fully-equipped kitchenettes, in-room workspaces, self-service laundry facilities, high-speed internet, and flexible housekeeping options.
In a recent statement, PRISM noted that most of the newly opened hotels feature approximately 100-120 rooms, aimed at boosting operational efficiency while accommodating a diverse range of long-stay travelers.

These establishments are anticipated to serve corporate professionals, relocating families, medical personnel, construction workers, and project-based employees seeking affordable and reliable lodging.

This growth follows PRISM’s acquisition of G6 Hospitality for $525 million.
