According to the Lebanese health ministry, Israeli strikes have resulted in the deaths of eight individuals in southern Lebanon, including civil defense rescuers, with two soldiers also injured. These strikes occurred despite the ongoing ceasefire. Israel has been engaged in hostilities with Hezbollah since early March.
