US-Iran War Live Updates: Tensions escalate as explosions rock Iran. Israel indicates involvement of Arab nations, while the US refutes the claims. Iran’s IRGC asserts attacks on US installations in Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan.
No government linked to the assaults has provided official confirmation, leading to uncertainty about the origin of the attacks amid escalating regional tensions.
This situation unfolds alongside Iran’s direct retaliation against Gulf states that host US forces.
Iran’s IRGC has claimed responsibility for hitting US bases in Kuwait and Bahrain, targeting locations such as Camp Arifjan, Ali Al Salem Air Base, and the area of the US Fifth Fleet in Bahrain, marking what they described as the initial phase of their response to renewed US assaults. In a subsequent phase, the IRGC reported launching 10 ballistic missiles at a US command center in West Asia and Jordan’s Al-Azraq Air Base, warning that further US aggression would provoke strikes on additional regional installations. Jordan’s air defenses intercepted eight of the missiles, and no casualties have been reported.
