The names were ratified during a session of the party’s Parliamentary Board.
Parliamentary Board Secretary Gurjant Singh Kattu noted that the party has nominated its working president, Iman Singh Mann, to contest from the Sri Fatehgarh Sahib Assembly constituency.
Other nominees include Mahinderpal Singh (Patiala Rural), Kuldeep Singh Bhagowal (Rupnagar), Kushalpal Singh Mann (Kharar), Gurnam Singh Singriwal (Garhshankar), Gurnaib Singh Rampura (Sangrur), Baldev Singh Gagra (Nihal Singh Wala), Harjinder Singh Jakhu (Bhadaur), and Parminder Singh Balianwali (Maur), among others.
Kattu mentioned that the party will soon disclose its next list of candidates for the remaining Assembly constituencies.
Punjab is set to hold elections early next year. The state comprises 117 Assembly constituencies.
