As per PTI, Modi mentioned that India’s young innovators are crafting technologies that tackle global challenges and referred to the nation’s innovation ecosystem as a crucial element for future growth.
The Prime Minister stated that India’s approach focuses on developing technology that benefits people and promotes sustainable growth.
‘Innovation is in India’s DNA’, says Modi
During his speech, Modi connected India’s present technology initiatives with its rich historical contributions in fields like mathematics, astronomy, and medicine.
ANI reported that the Prime Minister highlighted innovation as a fundamental part of India’s history, asserting that the country is building on that legacy through modern digital advancement.
He also emphasized India’s commitment to artificial intelligence, stating that its AI vision revolves around the concept of technology serving all segments of society.
Deep-tech startups take centre stage
Bharat Innovates 2026 aims to enhance India’s deep-tech ecosystem in sectors such as semiconductors, space technology, advanced computing, biotechnology, and healthcare.
The Prime Minister underscored his engagements with investors and venture capital leaders throughout the event. In a post on X, Modi described the dialogues as “enriching and insightful,” focusing on opportunities in innovation, technology, manufacturing, and emerging sectors.
He noted that India’s growth is propelled by talent, scale, stability, and reforms, positioning it as an appealing destination for global investment.

India-France ties get a technology boost
PM Modi characterized the India-France relationship as one founded on shared objectives, innovation, and collaboration.
French President Emmanuel Macron acknowledged India’s innovation ecosystem and reaffirmed France’s support for the Make in India initiative across various sectors.
Macron also stated that both countries have prospects for expanded collaboration in areas such as artificial intelligence, climate solutions, and civil nuclear energy, including Small Modular Reactors.
Modi’s France visit to continue with G7 engagements
The Prime Minister’s visit includes additional engagements in Evian and Paris, where he is slated to take part in broader diplomatic discussions, including meetings related to the G7 summit.
