The card functions within a prepaid payment instrument (PPI) framework, requiring customers to complete know-your-customer (KYC) procedures and establish a wallet before receiving the physical card. As it is a prepaid offering, there is no need for credit underwriting.
The card is available in two feature plans—Travel and Lifestyle—allowing customers to choose their preferred plan at the time of ordering.
As per the company, benefits include airport lounge access, complimentary buffet options at select five-star hotels, and buy-one-get-one coffee offers at participating establishments.
The company also mentioned that users will accumulate reward points known as Gold Coins on eligible purchases, which can be converted into digital gold.
The pricing is divided into two elements: the card fee and the feature plan fee. Customers can select the metal card without a feature plan or pick one of the two available plans. Currently, as part of a limited-time introductory offer, the card can be obtained at no extra charge when purchased alongside a feature plan priced at ₹5,999 plus applicable taxes. If chosen without a feature plan, the metal card costs ₹3,999 plus taxes.
This prepaid card is issued on the RuPay network, and customers can apply via the mobile app after completing the KYC requirements.
The Card Company is authorized by the Reserve Bank of India to issue Prepaid Payment Instruments (PPIs) in India.
