Northern Railway announced via a post on X that train services have faced cancellations, diversions, partial cancellations, and regulatory measures because of the derailment. Passengers are encouraged to check the National Train Enquiry System (NTES) app or contact the Rail Madad helpline (139) for the latest train updates before making travel plans.

The derailment has impacted 53 passenger trains in total. Among these, 16 trains have been cancelled, 24 have been rerouted via Delhi-New Delhi, five have been partially cancelled, and eight trains (from Anand Vihar over the Moradabad division and NCR) have been regulated.
Most of the cancelled services consist of local EMU trains operating between Ghaziabad, Delhi, Sahibabad, and New Delhi, significantly affecting daily commuters on this route.

In addition to the cancellations, several trains have been short-terminated or short-originated.
Train number 64104 (New Delhi-DKDE) and 64109 (DKDE-SSB) will now terminate at Ghaziabad rather than completing their routes, while train number 64053 (Palwal-Ghaziabad) will end its journey at New Delhi. Additionally, trains 64112 (SSB-DKDE) and 64152 (Delhi-Aligarh Junction) will commence their journeys from Ghaziabad instead of their regular starting points.
Northern Railway also mentioned that train number 54474 Saharanpur-Delhi has been rerouted and will now operate via Shahibabad-Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Delhi.
Senior railway officials, including the Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) and Additional Divisional Railway Manager (ADRM), have arrived on-site to oversee restoration efforts.
