BILOXI, Miss. (WLOX) – Becoming a small business owner can be stressful financially. However, some grants being offered could help ease that anxiety.
Here are a few grants available to small business owners and how to apply:
- Amazon Business is awarding over $250,000 in grants and prizes to support 15 small businesses across the U.S. Eligible applicants must be existing Amazon Business customers with annual revenues of $1 million or less and at least one purchase made through Amazon Business in the 12 months prior to May 1, 2025. Applications are due by May 23.
- The Fund Her Future initiative by Block Advisors, part of H&R Block, allocates $100,000 to support female entrepreneurs in small businesses. The program will award one grand prize of $50,000 and five additional grants of $10,000 each to U.S.-based, majority women-owned businesses. All recipients will receive a year of complimentary business services, including tax filing, bookkeeping, payroll, and business structure analysis. Applications are due by May 30.
- Stamps.com is offering a $25,000 Small Business Flexibility Grant to help one professional service business improve day-to-day flexibility and refocus on growth. U.S.-based businesses in fields like law, accounting, finance, insurance, and healthcare are eligible to apply. Every eligible business that applies receives two free months of Stamps.com, plus shipping tools and perks. Applications close May 31.
- The Faire Small Business Grant provides $5,000 grants to select new retail businesses to help them stock their stores and cover their inventory expenses. To be eligible, applicants must be U.S.-based and have opened their retail store within the last year or plan to open this year. Applications are open through. June 30.
