In a public announcement made on June 19, the embassy stated that M/s Al Hind Tours and Travel LLC will assume responsibility for outsourced consular services throughout the UAE starting July 1.
This transition signifies the conclusion of services currently managed by BLS International for passport and visa applications and SGIVS Global for attestation services.
Current centres to cease accepting new applications
As part of the transition, the existing service providers will stop taking new applications by the end of business on June 25, 2026.
The embassy also indicated that regular appointments for passport, visa, and attestation services will be unavailable between June 26 and June 30. During this time, applicants will be unable to book routine appointments through the current system.
This temporary suspension aims to facilitate a seamless transition between the outgoing and incoming service providers.

Emergency services to remain operational
While regular services will be suspended for five days, the embassy confirmed that emergency consular assistance will remain available during the transition period.
The Embassy of India in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate General of India in Dubai will directly manage urgent passport, visa, and attestation requests for applicants in emergencies.
Indian nationals in need of emergency assistance can reach out to the authorities via the dedicated helpline, WhatsApp support, and official email channels provided by the mission.
A new appointment portal on the way
The embassy announced that a new appointment portal for consular services will be established by Al Hind Tours and Travel LLC prior to the new system becoming operational on July 1.
Applicants are encouraged to depend solely on official communication channels and the social media accounts of the Embassy of India and the Consulate General of India for updates related to the transition.
This change is expected to impact thousands of Indian expatriates in the UAE who utilize outsourced centres for passport renewals, visa-related processes, and document attestation services.
