HG Infra secures ₹3,931-crore highway contract from Welspun Enterprises in Maharashtra.
Infrastructure development firm HG Infra Engineering Ltd announced on Monday (May 11) that it has secured a letter of award from Welspun Enterprises Limited for a highway construction project in Maharashtra valued at ₹3,931.11 crore, exclusive of taxes.

The initiative entails building a 6-lane (partially elevated) highway corridor and enhancing the existing roadway, spanning the Pune to Shirur segment of NH-753F with a minimum design length of 53.40 km.

The contract is allocated on an item-rate basis and is identified as a domestic project, with an execution timeframe of 36 months. The company noted that neither the promoter, promoter group, nor affiliated companies hold any interest in the awarding entity, and the contract is not categorized as a related party transaction.

Last month, HG Infra Engineering Ltd announced that it received an order amounting to ₹519.33 crore from Mirzapur Thermal Energy (UP) Private Limited for railway infrastructure development initiatives in Uttar Pradesh.

The order, dated April 13, 2026, includes the execution of civil works such as earthworks, bridges, and station buildings, along with P-way works for a 2×800 MW thermal power project at Mirzapur.

This project will be carried out under an item rate/BOQ mode, with a total contract value of ₹519.33 crore, inclusive of taxes. The execution duration for the project is set for 18 months.

The company confirmed that the order was awarded by a domestic entity.

Shares of HG Infra Engineering Ltd closed at ₹634.20, increasing by ₹8.60, or 1.37%, on the BSE today, May 11.
