Closing Ceremony of the Tripura Tourism Unity Promo Fest 2025 in Agartala to Showcase Saurav Ganguly, Jubin Nautiyal, and Global Tour Operators

Former Indian cricket captain Saurav Ganguly, who serves as the brand ambassador for Tripura tourism, is set to participate in the closing ceremony of Unity Promo Fest-2025, which will take place in Agartala on December 12, according to PTI. The festival is an annual initiative by the Tripura government aimed at showcasing the state’s tourism potential on a global platform.

“The Unity Promo Fest-2025 commenced in Dhalai district on November 8 and has already received a positive response from the public. Sourav Ganguly is confirmed to attend the closing ceremony on December 12,” stated Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury during a press conference.

He mentioned that Chief Minister Manik Saha will inaugurate the closing ceremony, and Bollywood singer Jubin Nautiyal is set to perform at Swami Vivekananda Ground during the event.

A total of 122 tour operators from 28 states will participate in the Unity Promo Fest-2025, he revealed, noting that 48 such operators attended last year’s program and met with the chief minister.

“This year, tour operators from Thailand, Myanmar, Bhutan, and Malaysia will also join the event. All of them will have discussions with the chief minister,” he added.

Chowdhury emphasized that the government is striving to carve out a significant place on the international tourism map by highlighting the state’s natural beauty, culture, and traditions.

He further noted that the state achieved the second highest footfall of foreign tourists last year in the Northeastern region, following Sikkim, according to the Ministry of Tourism’s data.
