Navi Mumbai International Airport Holds Spectacular Drone Display Before Operational Opening
Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA) has unveiled its inaugural summer schedule, broadening its domestic network to 46 destinations as operations ramp up ahead of its December 2025 launch.

From March 29 to October 24, this schedule introduces 30 new routes, enhancing connectivity to major commercial, tourism, and religious hubs throughout India. Major cities like Delhi, Goa, Bengaluru, and Cochin will make up a significant portion of the departures, along with Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Varanasi, and Indore.

Airlines such as IndiGo, Akasa Air, and Air India Express are preparing to bolster capacity during this period, aiding the airport’s operational growth.
Flight movements are anticipated to increase to 1,092 per week, which equates to approximately 156 movements daily. The average daily departures are expected to rise from 22 at launch to 78 by April.
