Redmi Note 15 Pro Series Set to Launch in India on January 29: Pricing, Battery, Camera Features, and Retail Outlets

Redmi Introduces Note 15 5G in India: Discover Its Features and Pricing
Xiaomi is set to unveil the Redmi Note 15 Pro and Redmi Note 15 Pro+ in India on January 29 during an event in New Delhi. Pre-bookings are already open, with sales scheduled to occur via Amazon India and Xiaomi’s official website. This new series emphasizes camera enhancements, battery capacity, and display quality over mere benchmark performance.

Display, design and durability

Both models showcase a 6.83-inch 1.5K quad-curved AMOLED display featuring a 120Hz refresh rate. Peak brightness reaches up to 3,200 nits.
This year, Xiaomi is placing a strong emphasis on durability. The devices come equipped with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and boast several water- and dust-resistance certifications, including IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K.

The design retains a flat frame, offering both matte glass and faux leather textures based on the chosen variant.

Camera and battery focus

A 200MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) is a key highlight. An 8MP ultra-wide sensor is also part of the setup, though the macro camera from earlier models has been omitted.

Battery capacity is notable. The Pro version features a 6,580mAh battery with 45W charging, while the Pro+ includes a 6,500mAh unit paired with rapid 100W charging support.

Performance and availability

Powering the standard Pro is the Dimensity 7400 Ultra chipset, while the Pro+ employs the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4. Xiaomi is also promoting AI-driven software capabilities, although further specifics are limited.

Redmi Note 15 Pro, Redmi Note 15 Pro+ pricing and availability

Initial pricing information indicates a higher entry point compared to previous Note models. Leaks suggest that the Redmi Note 15 Pro could start around ₹30,999, while the Pro+ might begin near ₹38,999.

If these figures are accurate, Xiaomi’s mid-range lineup is advancing into more premium territory, directly competing against devices like the OnePlus Nord series, Realme’s Pro models, and Samsung’s Galaxy A series.

Sales will commence post-launch via Amazon India and Xiaomi’s website. Introductory offers may include a one-year screen replacement and bundled wearable promotions, subject to stock availability.

Official pricing will be disclosed on launch day. Early buyers might receive a one-year screen replacement offer and bundled wearable accessories, depending on stock.
