The construction committee, led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, evaluated the building’s design during a meeting on Sunday. They will initiate construction upon receiving final approval from the central office in New Delhi.
The meeting included the participation of BJP State General Secretary (Organisation) Dharampal Singh, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, Brajesh Pathak, and various other committee members.
Spanning roughly 58,000 square feet in Jiyamau, the new headquarters will stand as the largest political party office in the region. The facility will include modern amenities like a digital war room, a call centre, an IT cell, a library, basement parking, an auditorium with a 1,000-seat capacity, and more.
According to a report by Amar Ujala, the Chief Minister made it clear that the new office should incorporate all modern conveniences and the highest construction standards.
In addition to accommodations for the BJP State President and Organisation General Secretary, dedicated rooms will be designated for all State General Secretaries, Vice Presidents, State In-charges, and Election In-charges.
Moreover, all state ministers will gain access to new office cabins. An auditorium capable of seating over 1,000 will also be constructed for significant meetings and events. Enhanced security protocols, including thorough CCTV surveillance, will be integrated into the new state office.
Meanwhile, the current BJP office on Vidhan Sabha Marg will remain operational alongside the new facility, as reported by Bhaskar English.
This development is part of a broader initiative led by Home Minister Amit Shah to construct BJP district and state offices across the nation. So far, offices have been established in 90 of the 98 organizational districts in UP, alongside a grand national office situated at Deendayal Marg in New Delhi.
